The colour is sage mist — a dusty grey-green, the colour of olive leaves on the underside, muted and soft. The cloth itself: a napped fuzzy surface with a fine halo of fibres catching the light; thick, warm, matte, holding soft rounded folds.
Cut for European bed sizes and sewn to survive a weekly wash for years, not for one season of photographs.
